when you eat shit. someone always asks for a picture

Happy late easter everybody, yesterday the kings had there usual shred. From now on kings meet at the bandshell FYI. So on our way to union sq. I realize my shoe is untied and ignore it. i start to push, my shoelace goes under my wheel and I eat it, right on 34th street. imediatly i grab my board (a skaters first instinct) but my back was hurting! so i skated slowly to union sq, relaxed for a few minutes and skated. After a little bit, a guy came up to me and asked me if he could take a picture of my back. I thought it was just an interested pedestrian, indeed he was, but he was also a photographer who has been in the New York Times, and takes some unique pictures of the city. His website is called http://www.humansofnewyork.com/

Orangatang releases new 80a free rides

for all you shreders who are big fans of otang wheels, they have just released a new line of wheels that will be sure to deliver!

From Loaded: You asked, and we... farted. After much anticipation and gratuitous flatulence, Orangatang is now releasing our stone-ground freeride wheel lineup in that cush orange 80a urethane. For those that revel in the buttery, predictable drift of a soft wheel with lots of speed control, here's your chance to break lots of wind.

80a Stimulus, Fat Frees, and Durians will be available worldwide on Monday, April 4.
These wheel are a very smooth, soft, cushy, comfortable ride and will make a great cruising, carving, freestyle and commuting wheel with moderate slides.  NOTE: If you are going to be going fast and busting slides at 25mph+, these wheels can wear quickly and it may be better to get the more durable 83a or the most durable 86a freeride wheels.
